I couldn't be happier with my new sewing machine. It sews through thick, heavy fabric like butter, and the acrylic worktable is AMAZING. I'm a professional artist who mostly works with clay, but I also create some fabric art. I purchased this machine when my previous machine (also a Singer) couldn't handle the many layers of fabric I needed to stitch. I've been using the machine almost daily for nearly 4 months now and haven't yet had a problem.
