Extremely Versatile

The Miele S194 can be configured in a number of ways to fit your cleaning needs. You can remove the Rug and Floor Tool and attach the Crevice Tool or Upholstery Tool to the Bottom of the Unit for handheld cleaning of crevices, stairs, upholstery and more. You can also remove the extension wand and attach it to the bottom to extend your reach to clean ceiling crevices or attach the Rug and Floor Tool to the wand to get a low profile to get under furniture and more!

Min/Max Suction Setting

Believe it or not the Miele S194 has so much power that sometimes it is necessary to reduce the power. With a built in suction control it is a snap to change the speed to suit your needs.

Easy Bag Change

Millions of tiny dust particles are held tightly within the 3-ply random-spun fibers of the dustbag. Practically tear-proof, this special material virtually prevents damage caused by sharp, pointed items in the bag or through misuse during replacement. The dustbag has a self-sealing opening that makes it easy and sanitary to change the bag. To insert a new bag just push the bag into the bag track and close the lid. Simple and Easy!

Convenient Tool Caddy

On the first unit I received, the latch (on the door of the compartment that holds the dust bag) was defective -- wouldn't stay shut. I returned it and received a replacement promptly without any problem -- thank you! The second unit is great. The latch is a bit of a hard close/soft snap, just so you know what to expect. The machine is excellent -- runs VERY quiet, picks up great, is versatile, has a nice long cord. For a small piece of equipment, the bag holds a ton -- I have cats that strew litter about (yuck!). When on the lowest setting (floor v carpet), the suction is amazing -- feels like it could pull the floor board up! Give it a try -- I think you'll appreciate the quality.

This is an awesome vacuum. It is versatile. I configure it so many ways to suit MY needs. It is quiet and it has tons of power. I have another Miele vacuum and bought this for my kitchen as a quickie and it is great.
