Sewing Speed
The Brother Innovis 1500D Sewing and Embroidery Machine sews up to 1000 stitches per minute.
Decorative Stitch Speed
When sewing intricate utility and decorative stitches the machine automatically adjusts the speed to provide the best stitch quality.
Extra Large Sewing Area
One of the largest sewing bed areas for sewing large projects. (210mm W x 120 mm H)
Automatic Presser Foot Lifter
This button is used to automatically raise and lower the presser foot.
3 Presser Foot Height Adjustment
The presser foot height can now be electronically adjusted for fabric thickness. The heights are 10mm, 7.5mm, and 3.2mm.
State-of-the-Art Needle Threader
The Brother Innovis 1500D Sewing and Embroidery Machine state-of-the-art needle threader automatically threads the needle on the machine.
Presser Foot Pressure
Now adjusted electronically within the machine. Pressure can be set from 1 to 4.
Initial Needle Position
The straight stitch needle position can be preset to left needle position or center needle position under the machine setting mode key.
Needle up/ Needle Down
The needle can be preset to always stop down or always stop up.
5 Sewing Lights
5 lights are located in the sewing area for better visibility. (Needle area and sewing area.)
Independent Bobbin Winder
The bobbin winder is located on top of the machine and winds independently of the machine.
Larger bobbin capacity
SA156 bobbin holds more thread. Less time is spent changing and winding bobbins.
Low Bobbin Indicator
The Brother Innovis 1500D Sewing and Embroidery Machine stops and a low bobbin warning comes on when there is approximately one yard of thread left on the bobbin.
Upper & Lower Thread Sensors
There are thread sensors for the bobbin and upper thread to let you know when the thread runs out.
Screen Lock Key
This key locks the screen to prevent operation of the Brother Innovis 1500D Sewing and Embroidery Machine. Pressing the key again unlocks the screen and machine to continue sewing.

My Custom Stitch
My Custom Stitch functions are built into the Brother Innovis 1500D Sewing and Embroidery Machine .
Memory in Sewing Mode
Memory settings are available for each individual utility and decorative stitch.
Retrieve
When a utility or decorative stitch is selected retrieve will display the custom settings that have been saved.
Buttonholes
12 buttonholes, darning stitches, bar tack, and two eyelet stitches.
Extra Bobbin Case
An extra bobbin case is included with the machine for use with various types of bobbin thread other than Brother bobbin thread.
Language
The machine is programmed with thirteen different languages.
USB Computer Connector
The Brother Innovis 1500D Sewing and Embroidery Machine can be directly linked to an IBM compatible computer to send, save and retrieve embroidery designs.
Embroidery/Embroidery Edit
Now have choice of setting the machine to open as Embroidery or Embroidery Edit when in the embroidery mode. (Machine Setting Mode Key)

Lettering Functions

Trial Position
9-point trail position function to outline the desired location of a design.
Embroidery Rotation
Can rotate designs 1 degree, 10 degrees, or 90 degrees.
Embroidery Design Memory Capability
About 100,000 stitches per design. (Stitch count may vary depending on stitch length, stitch type, stitch direction, etc.)
Maximum of 150,000 total stitches for the entire embroidery memory.
Move Through Design
Ability to move through a design by block or by stitch.
Size of a Pattern
Patterns can be enlarged and reduced as an entire design as well as horizontally, vertically.
Embroidery Frame Display
Frame sizes can be displayed on screen to assist with design positioning.
Image Key
Displays a preview of a design and checks the hoop/frame size. A zoom function is also available in this area.
