For your convenience, there are two parking positions that hold the vacuum hose and floor tool in the upright position. One position is to slide the nozzle connector into a groove at the back of the vacuum cleaner for temporarily stopping vacuuming activity. The other parking position is better suited for vacuum system storage and transportation and can be utilized by sliding the nozzle connector into the groove at the underside of the vacuum cleaner.

Multi-Stage Certified Clean Air Filtration System
The Bosch totally sealed and certified clean air vacuums begin with a 3 layer MEGAfilt® SuperTex dust bag. Next, a fiber filter protects the motor. Finally, a free added true HEPA exhaust filter traps 99.97% of all allergen, dust and biological microscopic particles down to 0.3 microns (1/300th the size of a human hair).

Dust Bag
The Bosch premium dust bag is three layers thick of filter fabric to capture 99.97% of all particles passing through it. This very fine filtration combined with the motor filter also serves to prevent particles from reaching the motor and helps extend the motor life and reduce service requirements. The bag is self-sealing around the hose connector to ensure only the air from the hose passes through it. All Bosch dust bags undergo an Anti Microbial treatment, which prevents fungal spores and bacteria from multiplying. Replacing the dust bag is simple, as you pull the tab to remove the dust bag, a built in bag seal engages, keeping dirt in as you transport for disposal.

Automatic Cord Rewind
The smooth power cord rewind mechanism is activated when the plug is tugged after removing from the outlet. Simply tug the power cord, let the plug go and the vacuum does the rewinding. If you need to stop the cord from rewinding, just tug on the cord. To activate the cord rewind again, simply pull on the cord.
